Each event you will have the chance to redeem tickets you get for participating in the event on fragments to get your very own Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet. You will need 3 fragments in total to create the pet, and the fragments can be found in your collections under “Fragments” -> “Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet”.

Each fragment costs 5 event tickets (all three fragments are available at all times when the Impresario is up) and once you have collected all 3 of them, you can combine them to create your Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet! The Pet fragments are called:

• Hallowed Hourglass
• Illuminated Dragon Scroll
• Kvatchian Incense

In 2022 Zos switched to the Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet and it’s morphs, allowing you to transform your pet into a special item! For each version you will need a base Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet and 3 special morph fragments. These morph fragments are also sold by the Impresario, costing 10 event tickets each, and they are gradually available as the events of that quarter of the year progresses. For example, the first quarter for the year had three events, so for the first event only 1 morph fragment was available, in the second event 2 fragments were available, and for the third event, all 3 fragments were available. But that can have variations depending on the amount of events in that quarter.​

So the question is, how do you get the morphs? You will need the normal Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet and 3 fragments total. During any event you will want to prioritize getting the Morph Fragments first, as they are ONLY available during that quarter, while the pet is available all year around. Once you have secured any available morph fragment, focus on getting the pet fragments for the normal Soulfire Dragon Illusion Pet. Once you have 3 Pet fragments, combine them to create the pet, and then when you have all 3 Morph fragments, use them and they will transform your pet into the morph for that quarter. After every morph you will need to get the pet again.​

If you miss out on a particular morph, you may have another chance in the future to get it, but the chances are limited to how often that morph is offered and no more than once per year due to the number of events in that year.

So for a quick run through, what you will need to do is: Get the pet, get all the morph fragments and use it, done. Then for the next quarter with the next morph is the same thing: Get the pet, get all the morph fragments and use it, done. That’s it, just repeat it each quarter

A QUICK TIP

For some events in ESO you will need a DLC or Expansion, so if you do not have ESO+ or the latest expansion (in this case, usually one event per year takes places in the new expansion zone, so even if you have ESO+ but do not buy the expansion you will not have access to it), use your event tickets only on the pet and morphs fragments, they are priority. Most of the things that the Impresario sells are motifs that drops during the event, and you can buy those in guild traders. I consider this an overall tip for everyone, but it is especially good for those who do not have access to all DLC’s.
