Well priced raw materials always sell well, but don’t expect them to sell for alot… unless its cornflowers. Those tricksy flowers are the bane of many crafters and at the time of writing this, they are selling for 525 gold PER FLOWER. Madness, right? I can reliably sell a stack of 50 for 25,000 gold, but DO NOT leave yourself short to do this. Supply and demand is a big factor in this area. General rule of thumb for materials is the higher the upgrade, the more you can sell for.

Other things that sell well are Bind on Equip items. Currently, the in demand sets are ones like Mother’s Sorrow from Dashann and BriarHeart from Wrothgar, among others. These can come and go with meta changes and changes ZOS makes to the way builds work, so always keep an eye on the patch notes. Mother’s Sorrow however, has been a great in demand item for a while now due to its versatility to all magicka classes. These Overland sets sell great!

If you are one of the people who have a relatively decent crafting level, you can sell crafted sets too. Tri glyphs, potions, good food, these are all items that sell well and have for a while now. Look through the Tamriel Trade Centre (“TTC”) website and other guild stores and see what prices people have things for. Adding to crafted sets, you can also sell Master crafting writs. DO NOT CONSUME THE WRIT IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE TRAITS/STYLES!! You can bank them until you do, or sell them if you don’t want them. WritWorthy will tell you if you know the item, style, trait and the material cost, so it is great for any budding crafters and people looking to sell master writs.

Finally… fishing. Yes it is boring. Yes it takes forever. But, you know what you get from it? Perfect Roe.

Okay, it has a 1% drop rate, but it sells for 17K gold and it sells FAST! Also, you can fish up containers that are highly marketable, like Psijic satchels, which can contain many great and valuable items, but it’s the luck of the draw.

This is really a difficult one. Market prices change daily and events affect pricing. However, Addons, yet again make this really easy. For this we are gonna get visual.

This was pulled from my inventory on 10/19 and shows the last 14 days of sales of this item. Lets ignore the item description for now, as that is standard in game. The top half shows the Tamriel Trade Centre Pricing, taking into account all the items listed on the website and scanned by the add on. This will scan automatically if you are in your own guild store, or manually (if you bind it to a key) when you interact at any guild store. Reliability depends on the community, however, I find it to be accurate for the most part.

The second half of this image shows the last fourteen days (can be changed, I just find fourteen days to be a better representation of supply and demand) of the items sales from the guilds you are part of.​

The number you want to look at is the yellow one above the graph. 2127 gold for this item. This is an average and you can go higher or lower, but don’t deviate too much. While overpriced items might not sell, undercutting prices may crash the market. When In Doubt Ask A Guild Member. The Trade Chat channel will become your best friend if you need help with item pricing. Recipes CAN sell but normally not for much unless they are really rare. The best thing for this is to drop them into the guild bank for other members.

Overall, remember to have fun. Do not stress over making a certain amount of gold every week.
